| 2 teaspoons | onion, chopped |
| 1/2 pound | ground beef |
| 1/4 cup | flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon | pepper |
| 1 cup | water, boiling |
| 3/4 cups | buttermilk |
| 2 1/4 cups | cooked egg noodles |

Instructions |

- Brown ground beef and chopped onion in frying pan. Drain fat.
- Stir flour and pepper into the beef mixture.
- Boil water in a separate pan. Add to beef mixture.
- Gradually stir in buttermilk. Continue to heat for three to four minutes.
- Cook noodles as directed. Serve beef mixture over the cooked noodles.
